Satyananda Yoga Centre Birmingham is a non-residential centre, located three miles from the City Centre. It was founded by Swami Satyaprakash, who dedicated over 30 years of her life to offering yoga classes and creating programmes across the West Midlands and beyond, for the purpose of inspiring and helping others to develop and grow physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Yoga is a broad subject that deals with the management of physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual states, and there are many schools of yoga in the world today. Our attempt has been to understand yoga in the context of our present day situation and environment, and to discover how we can derive the benefits from this ancient practice.
